ECOTOXICOLOGICAL ASSESSMENT IN SOME POINTS OF THE ROMANIAN BLACK SEA COASTAL ZONE
Abstract
An ecotoxicological assessment on four points of the Romanian Black Sea coastal zones ecosystems was done using a 72 h algal growth inhibition microbiotest. Water samples toxicity has been tested on the Phaeodactylum tricornutum. Inhibition of algal growth ranged between 2% and 17%. Generally, Phaeodactylum tricornutum shows adaptability tendency to the specific conditions of the investigated areas during the time of the test. Keywords
