Publishing Schedule
The peer review process starts once a paper is submitted through the electronic platform of the journal: CHSJ My Account.
After submission, the paper is first formally checked for content, ethical statements, and format by one of the editors, and if it meets the criteria for submission, it is next sent for double-blind evaluation by independent experts in the respective fields. Processing of the initial article is desk peer reviewed and takes usually 1-2 weeks.
Reviewers are selected from, but not limited to, our International Scientific Board and Advisory Editorial Board. The review process leading to a first decision typically varies between 1 to 3 months.
The Current Health Sciences Journal is published quarterly, both in print and as an electronic journal, and a subscription is required for receiving the printed copies of the journal (any applicable shipping costs are not included): https://www.chsjournal.org/subscription/.
